My husband and I were visiting Mississippi and craving a hearty, home cooked meal. Sambou's was recommended to us by several friends and we ended up going TWICE in 3 days because it it THAT good. The oxtails and jerk chicken were delicious (but don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu!). The portions were HUGE. And the service was top notch from the moment we walked in. Thank you, Sambou's - we WILL be back!

Amazing experience from start to end. My boyfriend took me today and it was so great! Everything was SO NICE and CLEAN! You can tell they really take care of their business. The wait time wasn't long. I got some sort of juice, it was amazing! Me and my boyfriend both got salmon cabbage rice, everything was delicious! Will be returning!

Definitely the best dining experience I had in Jackson. Came into town for a visit and was looking for a local place to grab a meal. The food and service in Sambous did not disappoint! Everything was flavorful...the oxtail and meat pies were absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere was lively and the staff incredibly welcoming. If you're looking for a unique dining experience, with quality food and good value, this is the place!
